About Kay C. Kintzel:

Kay C. Kintzel is a Licensed Psychologist, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Certified Addictions Counselor Diplomate who also holds a Master's degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in counseling from Kutztown University.

Mrs. Kintzel has previously taught clinical nursing at both University of PA and Duke University prior to beginning a career in mental health counseling in 1988. She has been a professional drug and alcohol counselor in both public and private sectors and as a psychologist has been in private practice since 1994, helping older adolescents and adults resolve life conflicts.

She is a member of Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Lehigh Valley Psychological Association, in which she has served as a past secretary of the executive board.

Mrs. Kintzel has a particular interest in counseling individuals who are experiencing mood disorders (anxiety, depressed mood, phobic or obsessive compulsive behaviors, social discomfort), substance or behavioral addictions. She also counsels individuals who seek life and relationship conflict resolution, stressful life transitions, and who are dealing with psychological factors associated with physical health problems.
